About Me

With over 25 years in the field, I have a wealth of experience and knowledge of a range of psychotherapy services for adults, children/youth, families, and organizations.
I value the uniqueness of each relationship and treat each person’s goals with the utmost of respect. The direction, the approach and the pace are unique to each client. In collaboration, we work towards your desired goals.
My beliefs are grounded in a deep respect for individual autonomy, human rights, and the value of relationships and community. I operate from a strengths-based perspective, which means that I believe all behaviour is the individual’s attempt to have their needs met. I strive for therapeutic relationships that are safe, non-judgmental, and fulfilling.
I am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I participate in peer supervision, clinical supervision and regularly participate in professional development activities.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from York University. I also hold a diploma from George Brown College as a Child Care Worker and have completed five years of private psychotherapy training.
